Greetings from Oregon! My name is Ryan and I started this blog as a way to bring together many of my passions. I share my life with my spouse and partner Shauna, and daughters Grace, age 6, and Marin, almost 2 years-old. Together we have a crazy dog named Masy. I serve as the Associate Pastor at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Corvallis where my job calls me to lead worship, work with children and youth, attend meetings, and share life, laugh, and cry with many great folks. I have a passion for the ministry of the church and am dedicated to exploring the intersections of faith, culture, and life. I believe that the gospel calls us toward liberation and inclusiveness, but with this momentous call comes struggle. We constantly and faithfully arrive at intersections that challenge and confound us; welcome to a blog about exploring and surviving those intersections!
